PSG 1800 - Polysomnography Technology Clinic 1

An introduction to basic Polysomnographic procedures performed in the clinical setting. Student will observe, perform (under supervision), and evaluate basic sleep studies. Students will be required to master the skills of: conducting a sleep history, patient assessment, patient preparation and instrumentation setup, calibration and operation, recording and mentoring procedures during the test, documentation, record keeping and patient-technologist interactions.
