BUL 2137 - Employment Law for Business

An introduction to legal issues related to human resource management. The course will highlight federal legislation and case law related to a wide range of employment topics. Current and developing trends in anti-discrimination law will be emphasized. Related topics include hiring and firing, evaluation, family leave, and other forms of governmental regulation of the employment environment.
