COP 3667 - Mobile Device ProgrammingCredit Hours: 3.0 Prerequisite(s): COP2535 with C and COP2552 with C and COP2671 with C Corequisite(s): None This course covers the methods and tools utilized in the creation of native applications for mobile devices, specifically the Android platform. Students gain an understanding of the challenges associated with android specific development, how to overcome them and how to build an optimal user experience on the mobile platform. Students will sharpen mobile application design techniques, technical development skills specific to the Android platform, and mobile application deployment strategies. Students will get knowledge of practical native application design and direct utilization of hardware features such as GPS, cameras and storage as it applies to the Android environment. This course offers students the ability to develop technical and analytical skills most appropriate for the creation of mobile applications using the Android platform. Bachelor Course
