DAA 1201 - Ballet 2 (Non-Majors)

This course provides the student with advanced basic ballet movement for dancers with a background in fundamental placement and technique. Emphasis is placed on correct body positions and correct execution of advanced basic technique. Exercises consist of barre work, stretching, center barre work with port de bras, allegro and exercises concerning rhythm, movement coordination and dance ability.
