MAC 2233 - Survey of Calculus

This is a one semester survey course in calculus and is not intended to be a substitute for any course(s) in the engineering calculus sequence. This course includes the study of functions; limits and continuity; derivatives for functions of one-variable including algebraic, logarithmic, and exponential functions; interpretations of the derivative; applications of derivatives to optimization, growth, decay, business and social science problems; integrals of algebraic, logarithmic, and exponential functions; introduction to methods of integration, including numerical estimation; and applications of the integral.
