MCB 2010 - Introduction to Microbiology

This course provides an introduction to microbiology with emphasis on the role of bacteria, virus, and fungus in human health and disease. It includes principles of microbial biology and classifications; growth, metabolism, and genetics. It also includes microbial pathogenesis and epidemiology; infection control, immunology, and antibiotic drugs; and a survey of infectious diseases.
