MNA 1020 - Professional Development Strategies

This course is intended for first term (A.S./Certificate) students. It will address the topics of professionalism and work ethics in both the academic and work environment. Experiential exercises will include building a personal/professional five-year goals statement, interview with selected professional and academic persons, and role playing of situational challenges. Topics will also include etiquette, dress, correspondence (including e-mail), use of the Internet, team building, time management, and personal/professional ethics.
