Students will gain further facility sight singing diatonic, chromatic, and modulating melodies using moveable do with an introduction to modal and atonal melodies. Other skills include reading two-part rhythm, melodic and rhythmic dictation, identification and notation of consecutive intervals, triads and seventh chords with inversions, cadences, and four-part harmonic progressions.
