NUR 1280C - Older Adults

This course introduces the student to holistic changes occurring in the older adult, disorders common among the older adult, care of the older adult in long-term care environments while using the Quality and Safety Education for Nurses competencies. Clinical practice may be provided via virtual simulation, simulation, or in clinical facilities. Successful completion of NUR2020C or acceptance into the PN to ASN bridge program required for enrollment.
