NUR 2210C - Medical Surgical Nursing 1

Medical Surgical Nursing 1 is designed to introduce the student to the concepts of medical and surgical nursing and the nursing process based on the Quality and Safety Education for Nurses competencies in medical and surgical settings. The student will be introduced to the health-illness continuum, pathophysiological processes, and medical-surgical interventions. Clinical experiences may be provided virtual simulation, nursing simulated laboratory and various healthcare agencies under faculty supervision. The student will be providing nursing care to a variety of patients with various physiological disorders. Successful completion of NUR1280C and NUR2140C required for enrollment.
