NUR 2212C  - Medical Surgical Nursing 2

Medical Surgical 2 Nursing is designed to expand on the concepts of medical and surgical nursing and the nursing process based on the Quality and Safety Education for Nurses competencies introduced in Medical Surgical Nursing 1. The student will continue learning about the health-illness continuum, more advanced pathophysiological processes, and medical-surgical interventions. Clinical experiences are provided via virtual simulation, nursing simulated laboratory and various healthcare agencies under faculty supervision. The student will be providing nursing care to a variety of patients with various physiological disorders. Successful completion of NUR2210C or NUR2037C required for enrollment.
