NUR 2310C - Pediatric Nursing

Pediatric nursing is designed to introduce the student to the specialized needs of the pediatric population. Through theory and evidence-based practice the student will be prepared to provide safe and effective nursing care related to physical assessment, growth and development, safety concerns, and common pathophysiological processes in the pediatric patient. Clinical experiences may be provided via virtual simulation, nursing simulated laboratory and/or acute care pediatric facility under faculty supervision. Successful completion of NUR2212C required for enrollment.
