Provides instruction in advanced aspects of Polysomnographic Technology, this course expands upon the topics covered in Polysomnographic Technology I. Students will become familiar with the skills and knowledge needed to obtain and evaluate high quality sleep recordings. Topics include sleep scoring and event recognition, instrumentation setup and calibration, recording and monitoring techniques, documentation, therapeutic interventions, specialty sleep studies and patient-technologist interactions related to Polysomnographic Technology.
