GRA 2208 - Typography

This is a studio course that provides and emphasis on basic concepts and vocabulary of typography with emphasis on expressive potential of typography and meaningful visual communication. Type anatomy, classification, basic terminology, design principles and understanding of form and semantic attributes of letter forms will be explored in coursework as well as design through typography.
