The Charles R. and Nancy V. Perry Center for Emerging Technologies is in Alachua the heart of Florida’s high-tech corridor, about 13 miles from SF’s Northwest Campus. The 30,000 square foot building has functioning laboratories and state-of-the-art technology classrooms. The Perry Center focuses specifically on emerging technology degrees and is uniquely located across from Progress Corporate Park. Progress Corporate Park is anchored by the University of Florida’s Sid Martin Biotechnology Incubator, RTI Biologic, lntermed, and graduates of the UF Sid Martin Incubator including Nanotherapeutics, Banyan Biomarkers, and Axogen.
Located in the heart of Alachua, Florida’s high-tech corridor, Santa Fe College’s Perry Center for Emerging Technologies offers cutting edge science degrees. The Perry Center for Emerging Technologies programs are all enhanced by required internships. University of Florida’s Sid Martin Biotechnology Incubator is one of Perry Center’s biggest internship partners. Sid Martin is conveniently located across from Perry Center in Progress Park. Surrounded by up-and-coming biotechnology companies, Sid Martin houses multiple research facilities and internship sites such as Entrinsic Bioscience, Lacerta, and Inspira Therapeutics. Sid Martin graduates, and Perry Center partners include AxoGen, RTI, Resilience, and AGTC. The Perry Center is also positioned near Santa Fe High School, which offers a biotechnology program that articulates into the SF Biotechnology Laboratory Technology A.S. degree.
