Nursing Assistant, Certificate

The Nursing Assistant Program prepares the student for employment in a nursing home, acute care, or extended care facilities. The clinical portion of this course is completed at long term and acute care facilities. Upon successful completion of this course, the student is eligible to sit for the State Certified Nursing Assistant Examination. The Nursing Assistant Program follows the curriculum frameworks as administered by the State of Florida Department of Education and approved by the Florida Board of Nursing.
