Allied Healthcare Business Specialist, Certificate

The Allied Healthcare Business Specialist is a 12-credit hour certificate program that provides students with an introduction to the field of allied healthcare. A full-time student can complete the certificate in one semester and a part-time student can complete the certificate in two semesters. 

The program focuses on health information management, healthcare law, and common business and healthcare applications, supporting rapid and high employability. The certificate includes coursework in Introduction to Health Information, Health Law and Compliance, Health Information Technology, and Microsoft Office applications. All courses must be passed with a grade of C or better to receive the certificate.
